A bit of a gear hound, many amazing guitars have passed through the Guitarslinger's stable of axes. They all have two things in common- all are unique (either rare, cosmetically or "under the hood") and all are female. Currently in heavy rotation are a set of limited edition metal flake finished Reverends, a 40th anniversary Dean Cadillac finished in a unique "shifiting" metallic blue/purple, a silver sparkle Ibanez Iceman, a checkerboard finished Hamer Sunburst, a custom made Seta Guitars Stratocaster "Metalique" and the Xaviere Les Paul "Pearl". Other guitars in the stable include a leopard skin finish Schecter Telecaster, a heavily modded Korina Explorer, a '66 Batmobile guitar and an abalone and pearl Dragon inlaid Explorer, among many more...
FRACTAL AUDIO AXE FX SYSTEM
Guitarslinger has used the Fractal Audio AXE FX system for the past nine years, beginning with the companies "Ultra" model. The AXE FX is the most sophisticated guitar processing unit in the world today, and can literally imitate the sound of any artist or rig imaginable. The AXE FX rig is also very compact, which means he takes up a very small footprint on stage, and since he goes direct to FOH and uses in-ear monitoring his stage volume is non-existent (if stage volume is required he can provide either mono or stereo FRFR monitors). His current rack setup contains two AXE FX II XL rigs, controlled by two Fractal Audio MFCs and various Mission Engineering expression pedals, and he also implements the even more compact Fractal Audio AX8 for situations where space is at an ultimate premium...
